She:kon Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of all the teachers and support staff I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the parents/guardians and students of Kateri School to the 2018-2019 school year. Our school enrollment has steadily gone up over the course of the last 4 years which is encouraging.  We have a professional staff that is ready and eager to start the year to work with your child(ren) and provide them with a variety of learning opportunities each and every day.  No matter what grade your child is in, either in pre-K or grade 6, they are now a part of the Kateri School family.

I have served as principal for three years and in my upcoming fourth year will continue to do my best to make Kateri School, a school dedicated to providing quality education in the three languages of instruction.  There will be changes in administration as Miss Cynthia Lapierre assumes the role of Associate Principal.

In order to be successful in school, children need support from both the home and the school, we look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child(ren) have a productive school year.
We want all of our students to become inquisitive, critical thinkers, active problem solvers, risk takers, environmentally conscious, have the ability to self-assess honestly, and take full advantage of the opportunity to learn about our culture, history and our language in our own community.

Our Vision, Values, Purpose and Motto will continue to be our driving force throughout the year.

In Peace and Friendship,

Shelley Goodleaf-McComber
Principal, Kateri School
