Mission

In full collaboration with teachers and parents, and in line with the mission, goals, and objectives of KaronhianónhnhaTsi Ionterihwaienstáhkhwa, the Mohawk Language  Curriculum Center will develop, design and produce relevant and appealing Kanien’kéha curriculum materials and text for the immersion and specialist teachers at Karonhianonhnha, Kateri, and K.S.S. that falls in line with their respective Programs of Study. This will ensure that students and teachers will have up-to-date materials and text  to complement their classroom lessons and activities. The Curriculum Center will also encourage and assist other community groups on the development of community Kanien’kéha language programs.
