I would like to give a warm welcome to returning students and parents, as well as a special welcome to new students and parents. I wanted to formally introduce myself, my name is Echo Hamelin and I am the Transitions Counselor at Kahnawake Survival School. I will be working closely with Senior school students in Grade 9, 10, and 11 and parents/guardians to ensure that they have a successful year.
As the Transitions Counselor, I will be offering academic and vocational support alongside KEC Post-Secondary Counselor’s for Cegep programs, and Tewatohnhi'saktha’s Youth Engagement/Workforce Development Counselor’s for Vocation programs. We intend to collaborate together advising students on educational, professional and/or vocational concerns, as well as providing students with a wide range of educational and occupational information.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact myself at Kahnawake Survival School through my extension. Email inquiries can be sent to Echo.email@example.com.
Homework Zone is an after-school mentorship program connecting McGill students with secondary students for 1.5 hours per week from October to April.
Homework Zone volunteers come from all over the world, (almost) every McGill faculty, and every level of post-secondary education.
Homework Zone gives students an opportunity to join a community of students and McGill volunteers each week to get help on assignments, projects, homework, or exam prep on any subject, and mix in some fun games along the way, completely free!
