Immediate measures taken due to positive COVID-19 case at KSS - 4/16/21

Kahnawà:ke Education Center (KEC) Kahnawà:ke, Quebec – 16 Onerahtókha/April  2021 - The Kahnawà:ke Education Center wishes to advise our community that a student who attends Kahnawake Survival School has tested positive for COVID-19. This positive case was identified on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Immediate measures have been implemented to ensure the health and safety of the KSS student body, staff, and their families, remain a top priority.

KMHC’s local Public Health Team, KSS and the KEC are working closely to maintain the safe environment that we have established system-wide. 

Additional disinfecting measures will occur this weekend in addition to the daily cleaning that occurs at the school. 

Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre’s Public Health Team is monitoring the situation closely and will contact students or staff whom they identify as a close contact.

Please continue to remain vigilant in regards to the state of your health.
