On-site Educational Services during the Red Level Alert

On-site Educational Services during the Red Level Alert

Kahnawà:ke Education Center (KEC) (Kahnawà:ke, Quebec – 9 Kenténha/October 2020)  We are in the process of compiling a list for each of our schools.  This list is comprised of students with parents, who are essential workers, students who require special education, and students who are considered vulnerable.  We will be verifying information given for on-site educational requests and contacting parents for further information, if necessary.

Should parents not hear back from their respective school, it means their request has qualified and a spot is confirmed for on-site educational services.

Schools will also be contacting parents of students who qualify for vulnerable or special education considerations by Tuesday, October 13, 2020, if they have not already done so.

Once we have determined the final number of students in each of our schools, we will explore the option of food-service providers for those students on-site.

For those of you who qualify for on-site educational services, we remind you of the importance of being extra vigilant with the guidelines and expectations set forth by the Kahnawà:ke Task Force.  This is crucial not only for the safety of our other students but for our staff as well.
