Kahnawà:ke Education Center (KEC) (Kahnawà:ke, Quebec – 28 Ohiarí:ha/June 2019) – The KEC would like to announce that it has prepared an initial response to the letter presented to Director of Education Robin Delaronde and Associate Director of Education Earlyn Sharpe on Friday, June 14th, 2019 in “Rejection of Proposed changes to KSS Document.” This response is to address specific points in the letter and to respond to social media allegations that are most of the time unfounded or completely false.

A full-page ad in local newspapers on July 4th & 5th will be dedicated to outlining this response and directing readers to the full documents on the KEC website.

A formal response to the letter “Rejection of Proposed Changes to KSS Document” will be developed and involve all addressees of the letter which includes Director of Education Robin Delaronde, Associate Director of Education Earlyn Sharpe, Kahnawà:ke Combined Schools Committee representatives for Kahnawake Survival School Marnie Jacobs and Wayne Delormier Jr., and the Kahnawà:ke Combined Schools Committee.
