Community Notice: KEC Purchases First Nation's Office Complex
The Kahnawà:ke Education Center (KEC) is pleased to announce that it has purchased the First Nation's Office Complex, a facility that has housed the KEC's Administrative Support Offices (ASO) since 2016.
The KEC occupies the second floor of the building while sharing the space with the Court of Kahnawà:ke. Through this purchase, the KEC now has ownership of the entire building, including both floors, effective April 1, 2027. This acquisition is an important step in supporting the KEC’s long-term growth and its ability to continue to support its work and the evolving needs of learners, families, and staff.
At this time, there are no updates regarding future office arrangements. Planning is still in the initial stages, and any decisions on the use of the additional space will be shared with the community once they are finalized.
