KCSC Announces End of Term – Shyann White

Kahnawà:ke Combined Schools Committee (KCSC) (Kahnawà:ke, Quebec – 14 June 2024)

The Kahnawà:ke Combined Schools Committee (KCSC) would like to advise the community that General (Outside Schools) Representative Shyann White stepped away from the KCSC, effective Tuesday, June 11, 2024 as her three- year term expired.

Terms of office on the KCSC are three (3) years from the date of appointment/election. Shyann was elected on November 18, 2020. Her term ended November 2023, however, she graciously agreed to remain on the KCSC to ensure that all seats are filled at all times as her seat was not filled at the November 14, 2023 Annual General Assembly (AGA).

The KCSC extends a fond farewell to a dedicated member and wishes Shyann the best in all her future endeavours. Niawenhkó:wa to Shyann for always going above and beyond expectation while on the KCSC. Her presence will surely be missed.

Please stay tuned! More information regarding the vacant General (Outside Schools) seat on the KCSC will be posted on the KEC website and Facebook pages in August 2024.
